My work has always been inspired by a love of animals and nature. My mission is to represent the subjects I paint truthfully and with sensitivity, letting the picture tell the story. In recent years my work has evolved and extended and I am now exploring still life, portraiture, and figurative works.
I paint in a variety of mediums including oil, pastel and acrylic. Each new piece is a journey of exploration and learning - even though I have a clear idea in my mind, the work will take on its own personality and dictate the end result and the medium used.
